PUTT - Practical evaluation Tests
Practical Course Evaluations 50 points ( 50% of points before
item tally)
Item tally: Points are added based on marked values of items
accumulated on the practical evaluation. There is no limit on point
potential. These totals are then divided by 10% and then added to the
overall total.
Each rider navigates the course in a counter clock-wise direction,
stopping at all stop signs and giving appropriate hand signals and
behaving in a vehicular cycling manner.
All hazards should be avoided in a safe and proper manner.
After the first lap, the cyclist travels in a figure 8 and stops at all
stores and stopping points to acquire and drop off loads.
The higher the points value- the higher the score. Points are awarded (
clearly marked) based on how heavy, large, fragile, etc the item is.
